바리톤 김기봉은 대구에서 태어나 서울음대를 졸업하고 이태리 파르마에 위치한 아리고 보이토 콘서바토리에서 디플로마를 취득하였다. 로카 델레 마치 성악 콩쿠르, 티토 쉬파 성악 콩쿠르 등 유럽의 유명 콩쿠르에서 우승한 후 ‘사랑의 묘약’’, 라 보엠’, ‘리골레토’, ‘루차아’, ‘파우스트’ 등 오페라에서 연주하였다. 
미국에서는 ‘피가로의 결혼’, ‘라 트라비아타’ 등의 오페라에 출연하였고 멘델스존의 오라토리오 ‘엘리야’와 브람스의 ‘독일 레퀴엠”의 독창자로 활약하였다.
유럽과 미국, 한국 뿐 아니라 멕시코, 구아테말라, 아르헨티나, 파라과이 등에서도 연주하였으며 현재 휄로우쉽 교회 음악 감독으로 있다. 

Baritone GhiBong Kim, born in Daegu, Korea, received his Bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance at Seoul National University. He continued his voice studies at “Arrigo Boito” Conservatory at Parma, Italy, which Renata Tebaldi and Claudio Abbado had attended. He graduated with the highest academic honor. He was a winner of the international competition, “Rocca delle Macie” in Siena, where Renato Bruson served as a judge. He was also a finalist at the Tito Schipa Voice Competition in Lecce and the Flaviano Lavo’ Competition in Piacenza. His major teachers were Sherrill Milnes and Inci Bashar.
Mr. Kim’s first professional appearance in Italy was as Cola in Paer’s Camilla at Teatro Regio di Parma. Following this success, he was consequently engaged to sing as Belcore in Elisir d’Amor, Marcello in La Boheme, and Rigoletto in Rigoletto. Other roles include Lucia (Di Lammermoor), Renato (Un Ballo In Maschera), and Valentine (Faust).
Since moving to the United States, Mr. Kim has been an active performer, not only in operas, but also as an oratorio soloist. Mendelssohn’s Oratorio 'Elijah' is his signature role. Mr. Kim made his Chicago debut as Conte in Le Nozze di Figaro at Chicago Chamber Opera with the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra. Other roles include Germont in La Traviata with the Elgin Opera and Morales in Carmen at the DuPage Opera Theater. In 2011, he performed Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem with Elgin Choral Union and Elgin Symphony Orchestra, which was on air through WFMT Chicago Radio.  
Mr. Kim gave solo and chamber concerts in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, Paraguay, and South Korea. He taught as a voice faculty at Judson University, Elgin, Illinois, and currently serves as the music director at Alliance Fellowship Church, Hoffman Estates, IL.

바이올리니스트 김 상균은 서울음대 재학 중 비엔나 음대에 입학하여 비엔나 필하모닉의 악장인 Rainer Kuechl 에게 사사하며 비엔나 음대를 졸업하고 석사 과정과 Post Graduate 과정을 그곳에서 마쳤다.
짤츠부르그 뮤직 페스티발 등 국제 무대와 한국, 중국, 독일의 대통령들이 모인 회장에서 연주하는 등 다양한 연주를 펼쳐 왔다. 클리블랜드 콘서바토리에서 아티스트 디플로마를 획득하였으며 오하이호 필하모닉, 멤피스 심포니 오케스트라의 악장을 거쳐 현재 시카고 시빅 오케스트라의 악장으로 활동하고 있다.

Korean violinist Sang Kyun Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea where he began his violin studies at an early age with HaeEun Hyun at the Seoul National University. In 1998, Kim attended the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna where he was a student of Rainer Kuechl, Concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic. It was here that he earned his Bachelor, Master degrees and Post Graduate in Violin Performance.
Mr. Kim has made numerous international solo appearances including performances at the Salzburg Music Festival, and the Presidential Residence of the Republic of South Korea where Heads of State from China, South Korea, Germany, and Denmark were in attendance. In 2012, Mr. Kim earned his Artist Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music where he studied with William Preucil, Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra and former first violinist of the Cleveland Quartet.
In addition to his studies in Chicago, where he currently concertmaster of Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Mr. Kim has made guest concertmaster appearances with several orchestras in South Korea as well as the Ohio Philharmonic, and Memphis Symphony Orchestra.

첼리스트 정 유영은 한국 종합 예술 학교를 졸업하고 인디애나 대학에서 석사학위를, 텍사스 대학에서 박사학위를 취득하였다. 정명화, 양성원, 박상민, Sharon Robinson, Bion Tsang 등을 사사하였으며, 텍사스 대학 박사과정 재학 중 teaching assistant 로 선발되어 학생들을 가르쳤다.
CCMF 컴피티션, 난파 음악 콩쿨 등의 우승자이고 인디애나 대학에서 주는 Performance Certificate Winner를 수상하였으며, 콜로라도 뮤직 페스티벌 오케스트라의 솔로 연주자로 협연하였다. 현재 시카고 시빅 오케스트라의 부수석으로 활약하고 있다.

 

A native of Seoul, South Korea, cellist Yuyoung Chung received a doctoral degree from the University Texas at Austin, where she studied with Bion Tsang and served as a teaching assistant, master’s degree from Indiana University, under the guidance of Sharon Robinson, and a bachelor’s degree from Korea National University of Arts, where she studied with Myungwha Chung, Sungwon Yang, and Sangmin Park.
Ms. Chung has been a featured soloist for the Eva Janzer Memorial Cello Celebration and the
Colorado Music Festival Orchestra. In addition, she has won many awards, including the 2009
Performance Certificate Winner (Special Distiction) at Indiana University, winner of CCMF Music Festival Compeition, first place winner of Nanpa Music Competition, and the Chunchu Music Competition in Korea.
She is currently assistant principal of Civic Orchestra of Chicago where she has performed with Yo-Yo Ma, and a regular substitute with the Milwakee Symphony Orchestra.

피아니스트 이 소정은 서울에서 출생하여 예원학교, 서울예고, 서울음대 및 대학원에서 피아노를 전공하였고, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign에서 피아노 연주와 문헌으로 음악박사학위를 취득하였으며, 현재 시카고 근교에 위치한 저드슨 대학교 피아노과 교수 (Judson University, Elgin, Illinois) 로 재직하고 있다.

도미 전 동아콩쿠르, 예음 실내악 콩쿠르, 한국일보 콩쿠르 등에서 입상하였고, 세종문화회관, 호암아트홀, 예술의 전당 등지에서 연주회를 가진 바 있으며, 서울예고  이사장상과 서울대학교 총장상을 수상하였다.

도미 후 지난 20여년 간 미국 일리노이 주를 비롯한 미중서부 지역에서 솔로와 실내악 연주자로서 연주해 왔다. 일리노이 음악교사협회 (ISMTA) 주최 연례학회와College Music Society 국제 학회에서 초청 연주하였으며, 한국 음연 썸머 피아노 캠프, 건국대, 수원여대 등에서 여름 학기 세미나 강사로 초빙되어 연주와 강의를 맡았다. Global Children Foundation을 위한 결식아동 돕기 자선음악회를 기획하였고 Food for Hungry International 모금 음악회에서 연주, 시카고 지역의 양로원 방문 연주 등을 지속적으로 가짐으로써 클래식 음악을 통한 지역사회의 화합과 발전을 위해   노력을 기울이고 있다.

 

Korean-born pianist Sojung Lee Hong has appeared as an active soloist, collaborative pianist, teacher, and church musician since her appointment in Judson University's music faculty, a Christian liberal arts institution in the Chicago area. In the past decade, notable public appearances range from a solo recital at Seoul Arts Center, a sacred music concert tour in South Korea, to a piano duo recital in New Jersey to a chamber music recital in Mexico. In addition to her international appearances, she has given over a hundred chamber music recitals with a various range of repertoire at performing art centers, universities, public libraries, and senior residences in the Chicago area. She has given lecture recitals at conferences such as the College Music Society International Conference (2011), the College Music Society Regional Conference (2011), and the Conferences of Illinois State Music Teachers Association (2006, 2009). In her home country, she has taught as a guest artist at the Summer Piano Workshop of Suwon Women’s College and at the Eum-youn Summer Piano Academy. As Director of the Performance Certificate in Music program at Judson University, she organizes the annual scholarship benefit concert and raises funds to support talented students’ education. For the Chicago community, she has helped to organize the Seoul National University Alumni benefit concerts, the Sejong Cultural Society benefit concerts and the Sejong Music Competition, and the charity concerts for Global Children Foundation and Food for the Hungry International.

Hong holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Seoul National University (magna cum laude) and a doctoral degree in piano performance and literature from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her piano teacher at UIUC was Ian Hobson, and the chamber music coaches were Peter Schaffer (violin) and Suren Bagratuni (cello). She also pursued accompanying as her minor under the tutelage of Eric Dalheim. During her doctoral studies, she won the first prize at the Irene Tintner International Piano Competition and was subsequently invited to perform with the Germania Orchestra in Michigan. She has performed concertos with Valley Civic Orchestra, North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra, Judson University Community Orchestra, and Elgin Community College Civic Orchestra. Currently, she is Associate Professor at Judson University and Music Director at West Alliance Church, IL.
