KOREAN CULTURAL CENTER OF CHICAGO - GRAND OPENING |
||
KOREAN CULTURAL CENTER of CHICAGO June 11 – July 12, 2011 Intertwined KCCoC was established in 2005 through grassroots fundraising. In April, 2010, it acquired a campus-style facility in Wheeling, Illinois. This Korean Cultural Center serves as a community hub for cultural exchange and charitable and educational programs. It houses a Korean museum, art gallery, library, classrooms, dance studio, and gathering areas open to all. We want to hold a celebration to thank the entire Chicago community for its commitment and effort to arrange the financing and development of The Korean Cultural Center. This show consists of Western style and Korean traditional paintings, ceramics, video, fiber, mixed media and installations produced by 35 artists who have diversity cultural background. Some works on display will be available for sale.
