BUSAN METROPOLITAN DANCE COMPANY, Korea

The Busan Metropolitan Dance Company was the first dance troupe to be organized by a local government in Korea. Established in 1973, it is Busan's flagship dance company.

Under the artistic direction of Mr. Hong Gi-tae, the Company tours throughout Korea and abroad, producing an array of dazzling performances on a grand scale.

The Busan Metropolitan Dance Company performs over 60 shows a year.

The Company's 46 dancers are some of the finest and most versatile in Korea, performing a range of styles from traditional to modern.
