(title)
"Caroline Pittman "the Unforgettable Korean Tunes"

Caroline Pittman who played flute piece "Five Moods for Flute"
during the "Music for a While" concert (MIC) on 12th said
the "Five Moods for Flute",
composed by Professor Byung Eun Yoo expressing
Korean tune with a flute was very interesting piece as it treated the flute not only as a
wind instrument but also as a percussion instrument using tapping, pounding, plucking methods.

This piece expressed 5 human moods with flute; fear, passion, meditation, anger and solitude.
This piece was composed by professor Yoo in 1981.
Even though it followed Western Avant Gardism it also incorporated
Asian meditative mode."
