Christie Vohs, clarinet

Ms. Vohs is currently the artistic director for Mostly Music at NEIU (Northeastern Illinois University), and a presenter of chamber music concerts and educational outreach programs in the greater Chicago area (bio).

Clara Takarabe, viola

Clara Takarabe, viola, was educated at the University of Chicago and has extensive performing and teaching experience both in the United States and abroad. She has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Milwaukee Symphony, Joffrey Ballet, Berlin Symphony, Contemporary Chamber Players, MusicNow, Present Music and the Lipatti Quartet. Ms. Takarabe's teaching experience includes Roosevelt University, the National Conservatory of Palestine, Residency at Bethlehem University, and Residency at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. In addition, she has recorded with the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera, Milwaukee Symphony, Sound Stage (WTTW) with Lyle Lovett, Randy Neumann, Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias, michael Buble, Jos Groban, David Foster, Peter Cetera, Yolanda Adams, Nita Whitaker, Nick Carter, Al Jarreau, Melissa Manchester, Rod Stewart, and Garth Brooks.

Matvey Kostukovsky, piano He studies clarinet with Stanley Davis and piano with Abe Stokman  at the Music Institute of Chicago.
Hanna Barton, violin Principal viola of the American Chamber Strings and the Chicago Youth Concert Orchestra She studies violin with Desiree Ruhstrat at the Music Institute of Chicago.
Ashley Sachay, violin Ashley Sachay, a longtime student of Montzka-Smelser and Shmuel Ashkenasi, who now studies with Desiree Ruhstrat at the Music Institute of Chicago.
Emily Van Sickle, viola She studies viola with Desiree Ruhstrat at the Music Institute of Chicago. Member of Camerata Chicago Ensemble (bio)
