Program Note:
Song in the Dusk I for clarinet was composed in 1997, and is the first of two Songs of Dusk. Lee tried to express the touching sentiment and emotions of Koreans. He is searching for the root of all feelings that Korean People have in this music. It reminds listeners of the image of an old Korean scholar searching for the meaning of life at the dusk of the day, and life while watching nature and life.
