Sijo is a Korean classical poetic form
(over 1000 years old).
It is like haiku. Three characteristics of Sijo:1. Its basic structure: 3 lines (14 - 16 syllables each line total 44-46 syllables):
line 1 of the 3 line pattern introduces a situation or problem.
line 2 develops or "turns" the idea in a different direction,
and line 3 provides climax and closure. - the first half of the final line employs a "twist"; a surprise of meaning, sound, or other device. 2. musical/rhythmic elements

3. the twist
